Public Works

Mission

Public Works maintains the infrastructure that keeps Boonville running, clean water, reliable sewer service, safe streets, and well-kept public spaces, and responds quickly when something needs attention.

What we do

  • Operate and maintain the water and sewer systems
  • Maintain town streets, signage, and rights-of-way
  • Coordinate solid waste and recycling collection
  • Steward town parks, facilities, and grounds
  • Respond to after-hours utility emergencies

Public Works helps keep Boonville running through water, sewer, streets, facilities, equipment, and other essential infrastructure services. This department supports the everyday systems residents and businesses rely on.

Services Public Works supports

Public Works responsibilities may include water service, wastewater systems, wells, sanitation coordination, street and sidewalk maintenance, construction support, equipment, facilities, and technical work needed to maintain Town infrastructure.

Reporting a concern

If you notice a water, sewer, street, sidewalk, drainage, or facility concern, contact Town Hall with the location and a clear description. Include photos when helpful, but do not use a website form for emergencies or urgent after-hours issues.

Water quality and public notices

Consumer Confidence Reports, service line material information, water notices, and related documents are gathered so residents can find them easily and understand why these reports matter.

Help protect the system

Residents and businesses can help keep the wastewater system working by properly disposing of fats, oils, grease, wipes, and household chemicals.
